At some point I have to stop adding time-saving and productivity applications into my life and actually get to work. In the meantime though, I have convinced myself that this one does actually save me time and increase productivity. Evernote:
I am currently writing an article which requires a fair amount of research on the internet. After setting up an Evernote account and installing the buttons to my Firefox toolbar I can instantly clip any relevant stuff straight into my own personal cloud storage account. This account is then synced across any devices I have set up and is fully taggable, categorised and searchable.
I am actually using Evernote as my word processing software as well meaning that not only is my writing in the same program as all of my research but it is also automatically synced, backed up and accessible across all my other devices as well…
Phew. That was a boring post. Good tool though.
Evernote is a great tool. I use it to capture emails quite frequently. I clip them directly out of Outlook. If I need to, I then delegate them to other people using Pelotonics. We just did an integration with Evernote and it makes it really easy to create tasks or messages out of your Evernotes that you need to communicate with other people on.
Thanks for sharing…
